Kat Von D Beethoven Palette Silver Smokey Eye Look
January 11, 2009
Okay everyone so this is the first tutorial post on my website! Yay! I'm excited!
For this look I used:
Primer (I used liquid foundation but soon I will have Urban Decay)
Kat Von D makeup palette that can be purchased at Sephora for $34
I also used a shader brush from target and a crease brush from Estee Lauder
Maybellline Define-A-Line in Ebony Black
Lancome Mascara in black
Lip balm in tangy mango from www.beauticontol.com
Cover Girl lip slicks collection lipstick in light pink sparkle
Aerie kiss water gloss in bright pink
The steps for the Silver smokey eye:
1. Apply a primer
2. Apply the color razor grey to your eyelid
3. Apply the color leather to your crease
4. Blend
5. Apply the color tequila under your brow for a highlight
6. Blend
7. Apply a black eyeliner and mascara
The steps for the pink lip:
1. Apply a hydrating lip balm of some sort
2. Apply a light pink lipstick with a little bit of a sparkle
3. Apply a lip gloss if you want for a glossy finish
And then your silver smokey eye look is complete. You can use different products that you have to recreate the look. Also if you want a different type of lip color you can dry that just don't go too dark since you already have dark eyes. Try to balance it out. The way I see it is if I have dark colors on my eyes I will have a light lip or if I have light colors on my eyes I will have a bright dark lip. The only exceptions are 80s looks, stage makeup, Halloween makeup, and crap now I forget the other one. Oh well I put it down later if I remember it sorry guys. Thanks for watching and I'll catch you guys later.
